The Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame honors women, past and present, whose achievements have gone underecognized. Our strengths lie in the innovative ways with which we share women’s stories with diverse audiences across the state and beyond. Our programs fill a void traditional curriculum still fail to address and provide teachers, guidance counselors, and coaches creative ways to offer young women role models.

We continue to focus on outreach initiatives: our web site, traveling exhibits, Ella Tambussi Grasso Center for Women in Politics and our Youth Action Conference, teacher curriculum, educational materials, and Speaker’s Bureau. As our audience expands, our increased visibility works not only to our advantage, but to the advantage of our sponsors, whose support we herald year-round at every venue in which one of our programs takes place.
