speaker's bureau

The Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame has established the Speaker's Bureau to promote inspirational educational programs by relating the continued achievements of Connecticut women.   Using slides, videos and biographies seasoned with anecdotes of our inductees, our staff and volunteer speakers are prepared to present to schools and various civic and youth groups.

The presentation itself can be tailored to the organization in which a select group of inductees are showcased and chosen depending on the audience.   The speaker will also describe the Hall of Fame, its mission and programs.   This presentation is about 20 - 30 minutes in length followed by a Q & A session.

Past speaking engagements have been as varied as fundraising luncheons for other non-profit organizations to an "inductee scavenger hunt" for children who have visited our traveling exhibit.   We can also arrange to have speakers available for anyone who hosts one of the Hall's exhibits; in the past we have spoken at opening receptions for such events.

For more information or to make arrangements to have a speaker be a part of your event, please contact us.   We welcome any requests for presenters from the Speaker's Bureau and look forward to being a part of your event.   We also welcome volunteers for the Speaker's Bureau and are always interested in creating new, engaging presentations that allow us to showcase the incredible women of the Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame.
