We are excited and so grateful to announce that we have been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Petit Family Foundation to support our innovative and impactful STEMfems programs delivered to students in grades 6-10 during the 2023– 2024 academic year. We cannot wait to Bring STEM alive for middle school girls interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics! This is such important work because nationally, women comprise only about 27% of the STEM workforce, a statistic that has not changed much in the last decade. Without increased participation by women, our economy will soon not have enough workers to fill STEM jobs.

Interested in bringing our STEM programming to your school? Please contact our Education Manager, Louisa Iacurci to learn more at 203.392.9008 or louisa@cwhf.org.
