THE CONNECTICUT WOMEN’S HALL OF FAME WELCOMES RAINA GIDDINGS AS THE NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

New Haven, CT- March 28, 2024—The Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame Board of Trustees proudly announces Raina Giddings's appointment as its new Executive Director. Giddings will succeed Sarah Lubarsky, who held the position for almost a decade. Giddings joins the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame (CWHF) with over 20 years of experience implementing program initiatives and collaborating with key stakeholders in Connecticut to drive positive impact. Her robust background in the corporate sector focuses on fundamental areas like inclusion and economic development. "I am honored to join the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame and am eager to build upon the incredible foundation laid by my predecessor,” said Giddings. Giddings holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Virginia State, an MBA from Albertus Magnus College, and professional certificates in public relations and diversity, equity, and inclusion. She previously served on the advisory board of The Connecticut Forum and was a previous member of the Governor’s Council on Women and Girls.
